I honest to god hope you’re right. I’m already a pessimist by nature, but the last couple of weeks just have me in a depressive spiral about what this country actually wants and how we can fix anything at this point. Because it feels like the sheer amount of roadblocks are becoming insurmountable, and the country is just forever willing to blame Dems first and foremost for anything while the GOP skates by on everything. I want a fucking light at the end of this tunnel. I want some kind of fucking hope. And all I seem to see is boots to the face.
