I remember that the major networks made a decision during 9-11 not to show the footage of some of the worst things during the trade center attacks ( the jumpers, for example), out of concern that it would ’ inflame anti-muslim sentiment ‘. Maybe they should show some discretion when it comes to covering obviously insignificant jerks as well.
