As for self-checkout - I was talking to someone in a store that eliminated them the other day and she said it was because of some kind of glitch where they were losing a lot of money (I didn’t get the details)….

I suspect that “glitch” could also called “legs”, as in the legs that walk out with the goods without paying for them.
