Feel the Christian Love.

I’m guessing this is because of the “sacriligeous” short video on SNL last Sat. nite called “Djesus Uncrossed.” Christophe Waltz, great actor BTW, plays Jesus as a vengeful gun toting cowboy/prophet. How it’s an assault on Christianity is beyond me. When right wing Christians talk of NBC (or anyone else) waging “war” on Christianity, what they really mean is that they’re angry and afraid that Christianity holds a slightly less dominant position socially than it once did.

OTOH, in political terms, it seems to have gained within the GOP as a motivating and unifying component. Ironically the party is more overtly Christian than it was under Saint Ronnie.
