Hyderabad was and is, apparently, known as a center of the pearl trade. They have many government-inspected pearl vendors, and my local contacts took us to one that they recommended. It turned out spectacularly, and Mrs. Fish was most delighted with the end result. She won’t hardly take them off but to sleep.

I have a sting of pearls, asked & received for my college grad present. Haven’t worn for years, but probably should, they are classic.
