A sax player I worked with once told me the best way to knock out a cold was to drink a bottle of whiskey and get under several layers of blankets until you sweated it out.

I’ve never tried that approach. He’s dead now.

I’ve done that, but it doesn’t take a whole bottle. A couple of shots is enough for me.

Maybe I’m just a lightweight, though.
