You’re lucky you were able to get it easily. The two times I’ve had to deal with a bat in the house, “capture” had to involve much effort with the swimming-pool net on a long pole, and a good deal of rather intemperate language. A lot of the latter directed at over-curious cats….

bat was fast asleep and clinging to a curtain, which made it a lot easier, otherwise I would have just opened windows, closed doors and let it find its way back out.

It is gone now.

still do not know how it got in. there is a hole in one of the screens, but I cannot imagine it crawling through…
