Is the Senate caucus significantly more conservative than the House caucus? Because I’m kind of wondering how the last three leaders in the Senate were Daschel, Reid, and now Schumer.

It’s really designed to be more conservative. They represent the whole state, while a number of House members represent very liberal districts.
