re: #18 Sherlock Hound
As a disabled person, Iāve long been the target of lectures regarding my supposed lack of drive, productivity and āpersonal responsibilityā. Iām sad to report that this is spreading to the rest of us. This is making the rounds.
Side hustle? That phrase is normally used by hunbots (multi-level marketing people, almost always women, trying to recruit new ādistributorsā).
Same here with my supposed lack of drive. It doesnāt matter what I learned in avionics I canāt use (itās illegal for me), my licenses are useless for maritime electronics (no one in maritime businesses will hire someone with epilepsy), &c.
I got the same sort of comments when I was homeless. Lazy, &c.
Pro-tip for either disabled people or homeless people. You donāt have to like them. You donāt even have to support them. But you donāt have to offer up your opinion on why they are āfailingā or how they are an āinspirationā (I hate that one too).
