I’ve been splashing some freezing water on the folks who think Beto can win in Texas. I’m a not anti gun Lib, and I know his gun stance has damned him. Everyone keeps saying, oh, when he clarifies how he’s anti this this and this but not anti gun, (wut) he can win.

I think Beto is a cool guy, but he ruined his political future by going hardcore against guns. Did he not know he lives in Texas?

Beto’s, or any Democrat’s, chance of winning in Texas will not hinge on their gun stance. It will hinge on whether or not Abbott kills off the right people with his policies and enough women decide they do actually own their bodies.

The gun thing is just an excuse by both sides to get around the fact that Texans currently only vote based on their party affiliation.
