I haven’t decided which text I would prefer to be sworn in on…a copy of Carl Sagan’s COSMOS or a copy of The Lord of the Rings. Both are pretty sacred to me.

LotR wouldn’t create a freakout, since you could just claim that terrorists were like orcs and you’d used LotR to swear to kill them all.
