Twice now I have been involved in what, from my perspective, was a misunderstood issue/attitude/intent, whatever, in Pages threads.

Both times, the thread originators decided to close the threads rather than continue any debate, which I think is a sad attitude in a forum that exists for exchange.

The following is what was to be my most recent post in that thread, but when I hit post I found that the page was closed. “No more debate allowed”.

Where would LGF be if that was Charles’s attitude?

Listen up people. If you, ditto heads included, want to stop this fest for the stalkers, I will be happy to, but if you want to address me I will do my best to reply (I tried to reply to Gus in his recent, mildly related, page when in a hissy fit he withdrew it, then reinstate it except the reinstated page didn’t accept comments).

Some 8 years ago when I first came here, I helped (I think) to keep this place from turning into a Christian versus Muslim blog. Many of those who were here then are now the lost people populating stalker blogs and others cesspits that we hear of regularly. I’ve learned a lot, here, since then and appreciate it.

My present feeling is that the pendulum is swinging a little too far to the other side, at least with some, and the khumbaya beat is drowning out the rational discourse.

So get a spine and debate issues with words, and don’t make up so much imaginary carp.
