It’s really sad when the possibility of Trump simply backing down (or failing to follow through) and allowing us to be humiliated on the world stage qualifies as a “best case scenario.”

There’s probably a Trump tweet that blasts President Obama for failing to follow through on the red line drawn on Syria because of course there would be.
