That’s great- I admire that, a lot. No question musical talent/ability goes a long way in the cognition department. Many also believe music helps in math skills and language acquisition

I’m apparently the exception to that rule. I consider myself to be a pretty good musician, but I totally suck at math.

My HS math teachers used to yell at me - ‘You understand music! That’s all math!’

I’ve never been able to recognize the correlation. Music is just something I can do, math is not.
