As an aside, that’s a beautiful old AM only transistor radio circuit board. 4 AA batteries, the Sony name and a really low serial number implies the TR55 of August 1955. Neat!

I still fondly remember a little Toshiba transistor radio I got as a kid, maybe when I was 6 or 7. Pocket sized (if you had a big pocket) and a truly ugly shade of yellow. Ran off two AAs. It was the 1960s version of the iPod.
