They believe that mask’s are a mark of the devil. I have a daughter that preaches this to me. I shut her down and try to explain the science - but she just doesn’t want to listen - I try to tell her that Jesus doesn’t want her to die - and she says he will keep her safe - Geez

My brother is like that, too. He also throws in the, “I’m prepared to die because I know where I’m going. Do you?” Ugh…there is NO changing the minds of religious zealots.

They are “prepared to die” until they get diagnosed then they are the first ones screaming for a cure. Probably would rip out a vent tube from another patient to use it for themselves.
