Still going to go with no. As far as the US government is concerned you still have your constitutional rights as long as they are involved. Which is how the conversation started, what can the US do to a citizen who has left US soil, yes local authorities do not need to respect your US constitutional rights, but in any interaction with the US government, you still have those rights. Whether or not you are on US soil.

Doesn’t matter in the case of Anwar al-Awlaki. He was organizing attacks on the US and we did not have a reasonable way to detain him for trial. Thus killing him via airstrike was reasonable. He was an enemy commander, not just a footsoldier or mere criminal.
