Just say you get your insurance from Affordable Care Act and you’re all good. Seriously, they’ve polled people telling them what ACA is and calling it ACA and large numbers approve. You call it Obamacare though and that’s when it starts to get ugly. Of course, a lot of people in the latter actually think Obama himself came up with the Obamacare monicker.

You don’t even say that. You say you have Blue Cross/Aetna/Humana or a dozen others. Because that’s what you have. The government might or might not have helped you buy it through ACA. This is different if you live in a Medicaid extension state. Then you have Medicaid or the state’s name for it.
