Wow. I’ve never seen that NPR interview before. Sanders’ comments are disgusting on multiple levels especially his equation of White people with the working class. Is he not aware of the Black and Brown working class? Or do they not matter?

Hope he doesn’t run again in 2020 for the Democratic Presidential candidacy. His words don’t sit well with me.

The ultimate irony, and one I and others pointed out when he was beating this drum in the immediate aftermath of the electiion, is that most of that vaunted “White Working Class” wouldn’t even consider someone Jewish like Bernie ‘white’.

Complainers are pretending that those who didn’t believe Hillary when she said it would have believed Obama if he said it, or that Obama even attempting to sound an alarm wouldn’t be seen as the worst attempt to influence an election evar and send even more people reflexively away from Hillary’s camp.

This was a damned if you do damned if you don’t situation if this is how it really played out.
