That’s overrated. The GOP rolled over for Trump. All the GOP did. That includes the establishment asshats pushing for Obamacare repeal for 7 years and didn’t have a plan beyond repeal (and it’s inarguable that they didn’t even have a plan for repeal).

Trump will now play blame game with the Congress over why none of them can repeal Obamacare. Trump will blame Congress. Congress will blame Democrats, and a few will demand a purging to get even more extreme members elected to Congress.

Trump is expert at one thing - pandering to the know-nothing ignorant base that the GOP relies on, and that terrifies those in Congress. That’s why they’re not opening the floodgates of investigations.
