The Bugs Bunny cartoon where Bugs keeps drawing lines in the sand and daring Yosemite to cross them, which he does, and then they reach a cliff and Yosemite falls off.

Doesn’t fit exactly but I can see Donald daring everyone to cross this line, then this line, then this line…

Except Donald is going to back himself off the cliff.
