Morning, all. I’ve been reading up on Trump being a gold bug. Supposedly, he wants to replace Yellen with a gold standard-friendly Fed chairman, and then peg the dollar to gold.

aka “how to tank the US economy in two easy steps.”

I’d heard that a quite some time ago - IIRC, he made some oblique passing reference to putting the USD back on a gold standard during the campaign.
