I think the economic aspects of the LP lack appeal to the new generation.

Just looking at their official platform, I tend to agree. I’m fairly libertarian in my beliefs, but the Libertarian Party’s platform on economic issues is closer to anarchism than it is to what Hamilton would have called “ordered liberty.”
