Forced busing didn’t cause white flight.

Racists who fear mongered having minorities moving into their communities did.

Whites didn’t want to see their “pristine and lily white” schools besotted with “those” people.

And white flight was also moving away from urban cores to the suburbs where whites could avoid interacting with minorities. Again, racism was the underpinning, not busing.
