We aren’t there yet, but I think we’re close enough to sneak up on it and stick our tongue in its ear.

Which is just terrifying.

It’s pretty clear that if we get civil war 2.0 in the US, the prelude will be much like the prelude to the past civil war and include an equivalent to bleeding Kansas. IMO we’re real close to that, and something as small as a few Rittenhouse copycats could get us there.

Ultimate responsibility for this looming threat is entirely on the Republicans, of course.
