I wonder if Obama has now alienated the “Iranian-American” community here? I ask, because when we lived in Los Angeles, we lived in an area with a great number of folks who had left Iran. It was a mistake to call them Iranian. They would always correct people, saying “No! We are not Iranian. We are Persian.”

Maybe that has changed, but these folks were adamant at the time.

Hasn’t changed.

There is a big struggle going on in Iran. Persian vs. Islamic.
It presents opportunities like the Solidarity movement in Poland did.

If anyone in the Administration had the wit to use it. We could (should) support the Persians, and regime change would follow in due course.
