Cash. As in, the money might be from Saudi, it might be from local Muslims, or it might be from the Pakistani Taliban.

Doesn’t the term “cash” as used when describing a real estate deal simply mean that the proceeds weren’t borrowed via a mortgage? That is how I understand the term.
That being the case, I suppose the cash could come from anywhere on Earth.
Having said that, I still struggle with the apparent presumption that the money is suspicious. It is as if the idea of a Muslim having access to funds creates a presumption of criminality.
