Because not every accusation is credible and supported by photographic evidence. You have to take these things seriously on a case-by-case basis; there is no blanket rule which applies to every situation.

Yet most of the accusations made against Franken don’t have photographic proof to back them up. Hell, half of them are being made by “anonymous” women. How do you go forward arguing that we’ll decide things on a “case-by-case” basis when you’ve already set the bar so low?
