Do it yourself scanners must be economically viable since they are basically taking over, so if that is the guide it doesn’t bode well if you are against fast food robots. The self check out is more like fast food ordering kiosks than the actual cooking robots though, and we aren’t too far from those becoming ubiquitous too.
