Because the BLS has been off on job growth for the past two years. They undercounted the job losses by a significant margin, and they’re undercounting the job gains post Trump.

Take the BLS jobs amounts post revision and couple that with ADP payroll and you’d see that there’s robust job growth under Biden that continues to this day.

The media knows that the monthly jobs report is a rough estimate, subject to substantial revision, but they breathlessly report it as big news anyway.
