It’s not nearly as nice or as long as the one built for El Chapo Guzman’s escape from the Altiplano prison in 2015. While Guzman’s wasn’t as deep (33 feet) or as wide (30 inches) but it was 5 ft 7 inches tall and .93 miles long (way longer than this tunnel). It also had lights, air ducts and high-quality construction materials for its one use. Oh yeah, and a motorcycle was found in the tunnel.

I’d be curious to see how this tunnel compared to other tunnels dug in the area, because Guzman had a tunnel expert in his cartel. But hey, it’s just curiosity.
