Well, you have to remember, for many Americans geography isn’t important because only America matters, or exists. To many Ukraine might as well be next to Lothlorien.

It’s one of the reasons 9/11 was such a shock. “OMG! There are places other than America, and they can hurt us!”

Though it is kinda scary that there seems to be a few dots within the USA. If those people that made that guess are also screaming for us to nuke them, then they seem to be just fine with nuking US citizens.
