I’m talking about the relative morality of the physics of death. That’s bullshit.
For the justification of the war, and the way it was waged, that’s for the preachers and historians. I remember that the people of Nanking didn’t get a vote on the means.

Just wanted to jump back in to mention while grabbing a sammich for lunch, I was reading up a bit on the Nanking Massacre. I did not realize there is still debate as to whether it was a war crime or just part of war and the numbers of civilians killed. And there appears to still be much denial among some of the Japanese and it still breeds resentment in the entire area between Japan, China, Korea and the Philippines.

1937. Almost 80 years and still a question. Human pride. Ugh.
