Morning, all. I’ve been reading up on Trump being a gold bug. Supposedly, he wants to replace Yellen with a gold standard-friendly Fed chairman, and then peg the dollar to gold.

aka “how to tank the US economy in two easy steps.”

Unless they are busy updating their resumés for handy access, is there no one in the Administration with a few minutes to spare to inform the “President” that this might be a bad idea? Or is he planning to fire Steve Mnuchin and appoint Glenn Beck to Treasury?
