Humanity is so screwed. It’s a miracle we’ve survived this long. I hate politics.

I hate to admit it but the same tribalism we see today as a reaction to fear and stress within a large population is the reason we do so well in smaller populations. Our biggest problem is our ability to develop incredibly sophisticated and efficient killing machines without developing a larger, more sophisticated social structure. The only way we survive our own ingenuity is by expanding our tribe size beyond the instinctual.
