Russian equipment was designed for a minimally traned conscript army. I would imagine that anybody on this forum could fire an SA-11 with a few hours instruction and hands on tinkering.

You could change “few hours” to “few weeks” and it would still be entirely plausible that someone found the time.

I mean, I still think it’s probably heavily supported by (if not launched by!) the Russians, but you don’t go to war on a gut suspicion or a wild-ass theory.
