Those weren’t jokes. Chuck was lying, pretending to be a big man with lots of money and support.

It’s looking more and more like Joel Gilbert and Stuart Browning (if indeed Browning ever was a financial backer) have cut Chuck off. The fight with Loesch was likely the last straw. The right wing in this country wants a trained Anger Bear that’s smart enough not to bite the hand that feeds it. In CCJ they instead found an unstable narcissistic sociopath that nobody with any sense now trusts or feels at all safe being around.
