The same argument I heard from my religious family members (before they disowned me); he’s too young to know he doesn’t believe in God, it’s just a phase, he can’t know that at five.

It’s strange… a lot of the anti-trans stuff I hear these days remind me of a lot of the anti-gay stuff I remember hearing as a kid/teenager. Just recycled for the new scary “other” group.
