It’s pretty clear that if we get civil war 2.0 in the US, the prelude will be much like the prelude to the past civil war and include an equivalent to bleeding Kansas. IMO we’re real close to that, and something as small as a few Rittenhouse copycats could get us there.

Ultimate responsibility for this looming threat is entirely on the Republicans, of course.

If this happens, it will be in large part because the Democratic Party/Liberals/Progressives do not wage a counterforce against it.
