As usual, my Facebook timeline has people reposting the typical pray-for-whoever etc. etc. When I go look at the originator’s page, as I just did for one of them, what I find is someone who is obviously not coping well but also suffers from, frankly, delusional thinking.

Just now I read one of those people, who have close folk to them suffering from Covid. But the poster is into naturopathy and claims she can’t take vaccines. Sure, that is what she tells herself. But there is no evidence she can’t be vaccinated.

She writes “to each her own”, wrt Covid beliefs.

It’s all so tragic and so stupid.

These people are unwilling to simply admit to themselves that their prior beliefs are just wrong.

And in some of these cases deadly wrong.
