Yeah that’s a fair point. And being in California, your brand of conservatives are definitely different from ours here in Virginia. I agree with you that she could have phrased it differently because it does come off as a cheap shot but as I said, I do have a problem with those who proclaim themselves pro-choice, pro LGBT rights, pro-science, pro-secularism, etc but then consider or give the GOP candidate a vote because “I’m a fiscal conservative.” The thing that bugs me is the assumption that “fiscal liberals” like me like taxes. No one actually likes taxes but as a member of the so called fiscal left, I see them as a necessary evil in a modern society.
