I’m concerned with what might happen with dems in both branches. As I thought I made clear.

But we also know that if Republicans are in a minority they will behave as they do now. They will claim that a President who is a Democrat has committed terrible offenses that the Democrats are ignoring. They did this back in 1994 under Bill Clinton and there is no reason to think that the modern Republican party will do anything differently now. Until the modern Republican party is dead and replaced by a party led by politicians such as William Weld or Nelson Rockefeller, we have to be careful about these investigations.
