We know little about Corona,

If you mean the SARS-COV-2 coronavirus actually we, the scientific world “we”, knows an incredible amount about it. “We” also know how it spreads and how it infects people, “we” know the exact RNA sequences of many of the evolved genetic variants of SARS-COV-2 that are circulating, “we” have multiple vaccine candidates in train to stimulate immunity in the world’s population using several different techniques.

Stuff “we” are not sure about but which “we” have a general handle on are things like how it affects individuals, what are its secondary effects on blood clotting, lung damage, circulation etc. and why young people and children respond differently to this infectious virus. That difference is being investigated hard because it may lead to a more effective treatment for older people who preferentially suffer more from this disease.

Things we can derive from our experiences with other coronaviruses like SARS-COV-2 are that reinfection is likely, acquired immunity fades over time, seasonal effects like cold dry air exacerbate infection rates etc. and that it’s NOT GOING AWAY. It should fade into the background like its kissing cousin influenza once a lot of people get vaccinated regularly with effective vaccines and its spread is perforce limited. That’s still some time in the future though.
