My commute has always been asymmetrical. Leaving the west suburbs at 5:00 AM ensures that traffic flowing into the Cities is smooth, but no matter what reasonable hour I leave in the afternoon, traffic is always stacked up. It’s only less bad if I leave work early.

My commute is the same as my wife’s: a block walk to the Village Hall/Public Library.

Pretty much don’t have to worry about traffic.
