I knew there was a reason I don’t live where you do.
They’ve dropped our forecast temperature for tomorrow a bit, but Tues./Wed. are still supposed to be hot. The weird thing is this heat will actually be more intense in the Pacific Northwest. Seattle will be in the 90°s mid-week.

My brother and his wife are going camping with friends in northwestern CA this week. They’re concerned about hiking in the heat they’ll be seeing even at 5000’.
(Meanwhile we traded cars so they could have our Forester with its higher clearance. I could barely get his car with all its sensors and beeping into the garage. There was plenty of room, but the “safety systems” didn’t agree.)

They are closing parks/hikes in So Cal. 1st I’ve ever heard, but might be norm?
