To be fair, it’s hard getting Czechs to adapt to new ideas. I reckon it’s something of a post-Communist Era hangover. The young generation is relatively eager to adapt, but it’s the old farts here who are the most reluctant to usher in change.

And being as the average age of Czechs in general is 46 or thereabouts, yeah…..old farts are quite numerous here.
