Regular youth, enthusiasm, charisma, and unashamed Progressivism probably would have been OK, but her feminine youth, enthusiasm, charisma, and unashamed Progressivism was just too much.
Can’t forget about her being Latina and unashamed to criticize the economic status quo. I don’t consider myself a Dem Socialist but she’s A) Right to do that and B) It definitely inspires a lot of the ugly attacks on her. You know if she talked like Paul Ryan on economics, she’d be a GOP wunderkid and someone they’d talk about running in 2028. I have no idea what Alexandria’s future is but I’m encouraged with its genesis.
