I think some of y’all just need to understand that for many of us it’s really no different than the telephone, email, or a letter. I actually don’t have a Twitter account. I really think many of your problems are with abuse of the medium rather than the medium itself. I don’t have a problem against political websites like ours because Stormfront exists. As I said regulate FB but we have to be aware that this is 21st century communication too warts and all.

I agree. I’m not a Luddite.

Telephones and letters are regulated. Send a death or rape threat in the mail or over the telephone and you’ve violated federal law. A threat sent via E-mail depends but is also illegal.

All I want is the same sort of regulation of Facebook, particularly since it is a de facto monopoly. (And get them out of the education business; Zuck and his wife don’t know jack about education and are trying to leverage poor rural schools for information on children.)
