I ended up with a grape-sized tick in my coat pocket after petting someone’s dog. I was playing with this thing in my pocket, took it out to find out what it was, freaked out and dropped it off the wood deck we were on and it burst into a little pool of blood when hitting the sidewalk below. Ticks give me the creeps.

My uncle in Joliet showed me how to use Vaseline to get one to back out of my dog, then showed me how to pop ‘em.
