Just a matter of time before people get killed or hospitalized at a Trump rally.

Three things I can predict:

1) There will be a Twitter/FB shitstorm of speculation about what really happened.

2) DT supporters will blame the victims for provoking their attackers, unless the victims are Trump supporters, in which case the attacks will be deemed entirely unprovoked.

3) It will help DT’s poll standings

I know there’s a lot of “conventional wisdom” going around that every shitty thing he does helps his ratings but it’s simply not true. He’s been in serious decline against both Hillary and Bernie in head to head polling since the beginning of the year, and gets worse with every new racist incident. He’s even losing some steam in the GOP Primary, though it’s coming at such a late juncture as to probably not matter in that race.

Point being, what’s worked for him in the primary will almost certainly not work in the general, and he’s shown no real indication of being able to walk out of the racist, warmongering, torture loving corner he’s painted himself into.
